Drumming – very much a thing of the past

There had been so much interest in my past life as a drummer, that I have reluctantly added a few pictures from the bands that I played with. Sorry about the quality of the pictures but they are old pictures that I found on the internet.

After reading through my website, people often contact me to ask about my life as a drummer, not really showing any interest in dharma teachings or veganism. This is all a bit of a disappointment, but there we are

Little sister Josephine

Entered the bardo on 7th September 2025.
On holiday with little Sis Josephine in Walton-on-the-Naze. In this picture on the boating lake, i am 11 years old and Josephine is 6 years old. We spent many a happy summer holiday at this resort. When your 1 hour is up in your boat, the owner would call out, come in number 44, your time is up. Now 65 years later, our time really is up. Ha ha.

Little sister Josephine

Entered the bardo on 7th September 2025.
Meeting up with little sis at my favourite Italian cafe in London’s swiss cottage. They always knocked up a nice vegan pasta for me. I would travel to london to teach on a regular basis. It also presented me with the opportunity to meet up with Josephine and her lovely husband Martin. Little did we know as we sat there chatting away, that we both had terminal cancer.
Josephine has now entered the bardo, and I won’t be far behind. I promised Martin that I would look out for her.
